Essential Oils of the day~

I haven't posted much about oils, but we have been using them for quite some time now and are thoroughly impressed with them. I have had the opportunity to be introduced to Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils and have been using them over the last year.
There have been many ailments that I have use our oils for. Some include to help heal surgical incisions, burns, heartburn, eczema, allergic reactions, relaxation, sleep aid, headache, acne, migraines and many,  many more. Instead of covering each one of them right now, I will pick up with what I am using today.

Today we used Vetiver, like we use everyday, for ADHD, Sensory and ODD. Vetiver helps to release the anger and aggressiveness that comes with ODD-Oppositional Defiant Disorder. It is noted to have been known in India, as the "Oil of tranquility". Vetiver helps with emotional balance, nervous system and hormonal issues.

Secondly, we are diffusing Peace and Calming combined with Lavender for the calming effects that it has.

Lastly, Helichrysum for a stubborn allergic reaction that we cannot seem to get rid of on my daughter's legs. This comes from eating things that she is sensitive too while we were in transition and unfortunately we were out of our enzymes at the time and the reaction took over and just will not go away. I have been fighting it for months now and yesterday I decided to try Helichrysum and I am already seeing improvement! I love oils, that is all that I can say!

Helichrysum has many, many uses to include to aid in bruising, colitis, eczema and tissue repair. And that is just naming a few. I have also used in to stop the bleeding from a wound-what?!? Yes, it helps to stop bleeding.

If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about Essential Oils I would love to chat with you! You can head over to my website to check out more resources and products or just to sign up!

Long time, no see!

It has been months since I last posted! Life has been quite a journey over the last 8 months. I graduated with my BA in Early Childhood Education, started homeschooling my son, sold our home after months under contract, moved back to my home town and finally, we have arrived at our new location and now I am finishing up my Masters in Special Education. Wow! Can I say wow? I think that I can!
Not only have I had a physical journey, but I have stared a spiritual journey too! I learned last summer that I was an Empath. After all these years I thought that I was loosing my mind and felt like I was always caught up in a whirlwind of emotions all of the time. I instantly starting to see the world completely different and having memories from my childhood surface that I hadn't thought of in a long time. Wow, talk about a roller coaster! I have only begun that journey and I have a lifetime to learn about who I am and what my purpose on Earth is. This is a very personal journey that I will not share much of, but I am putting this out there for anyone that is on this same journey or is just discovering who they are.
Maybe time will allow me to share more about my journey instead of the every 6 month check in. Only time will tell!!

Happy New Year!

Yes, I know that it is now the middle of January, but we had a ruff go over the holidays. We got a visit from the Flu bug. He stayed for a short time, but his destruction took a while to clear up! We had a visit from a very special person who helped to take care of us while we were sick which was very nice.
I also got to catch up on one and a half season's of my favorite shows, Once Upon A Time! That was nice to be able to lay in bed all day and sleep and then watch my shows. It didn't feel good, but it was nice.

It is a new year so there are new beginnings! I will be starting my new business, Lotus Bloom Life Coaching. It is a venture that I have given great thought too and look forward to doing. Come check me out if you like! We have had a good bought of cold winter days here recently which has resulted in some pipes bursting in my area. I am so thankful that we have not had any problems yet. I ask that we do not have any either!

I am taking off on my spiritual journey to discover new and enlightening things about myself and the world around me. I look forward to growth, understanding, and gifts for the new year to come! We have many ventures in our future and I can't wait to share them.

Light and love,
Jamie
